    the product description says it includes coverage for ticks but the box does not... which is it?

    The active ingredient in Stronghold/Revolution, Selamectin, controls American Dog Tick infestations (Dermacentor Variabilis) . Revolution is marketed to the US/Canada, so the packaging says that it covers Dermacentor Variabilis while Stronghold packaging will not say this because it is marketed to areas where this tick is not present.

    Does the Stronghold have the exact ingredients and amounts as the Revolution has? Yes If so then why is it cheaper? Revolution is marketed to the US and Canada at a higher price while Stronghold is marketed to Australia and Europe at a lower price.

    Revolution equivalent for US

    I live in the US and used Revolution for for years for my pack. So when I found Stronghold which is the UK equivalent but at a much more affordable price I was sold. Same great product for preventative pet care but at a better price.

    Tough of fleas, even in the Deep South!

    We’ve been using Stronghold for our Giant Schnauzers for several years now and have always been happy with the way it works. We do use it every 3 weeks in the summertime as we are in Georgia and fleas can really get out of control here. I am a dog groomer and have recommended Stronghold to many of my clients and their dogs are consistently free of fleas when they come in for grooming!
